International Women's Day March 2020

The collective action of women has seen major improvements for our rights in Australia – from winning the vote to achieving equal pay and implementing anti-discrimination laws.

But there is more work to be done. Women still face specific challenges in health care, housing, and the workplace (to name a few). Inequality, the gender pay gap and family and domestic violence all hold women back.

We can do better. But its going to take all of us working together.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day in 2020, lets raise our voices for gender equality in Tasmania.
