What’s left of the Tasmanian Labor Party?

After betraying Tasmanians on pokies, today Labor have backed in the Liberals’ politically-motivated, draconian Police Offences Amendment (Workplace Protection) Bill 2022 in the Legislative Council.

Tasmanian Labor has just sold out democracy and the right to peaceful protest in Tasmania.

Despite all its hand-wringing during debate, Labor voted the Bill through the House of Assembly and has now voted it through the second reading in the Legislative Council.

The party has abandoned its traditional roots, including every union member in Tasmania.

Anyone who thinks modern Labor is any different from the Liberals need look no further than today’s vote.

Rebecca White’s Labor is a sell out.
