Dr WOODRUFF - Minister, I'd like to get some more information about the money in the Budget provided under Arts Industry Development, output 5.2. It says:
A range of industry development programs and projects, coupled with the provision of funding to individual artists, art organisations and major Tasmanian cultural institutions to assist their planning and realisation of projects as well as to develop and present new work.
Can you tell me what organisations, individuals and programs will be receiving funding and what's the mechanism for doing this?
Ms ALLEN - If I understand the question correctly it relates to our entire suite of funding programs. That is a description of the policies we apply across all the programs. We make available on our website the results of all of the funding allocations that we make across our programs.
Ms ARCHER - It's quite voluminous. Some of the funding is up to $1 million. There might quite a few that have smaller amounts, some will be larger amounts depending on whether or not we have a capped figure under various programs. Each of them is specifically designed in a different way.
Dr WOODRUFF - It's not a key deliverable as in some new money that's been allocated, it's the general statement.
Ms ARCHER - Which one are you referring to?
Dr WOODRUFF - I'm referring to 5.2 - Arts Industry Development. I think you're right, it's the general statement.
Ms ALLEN - That is a catch-all for all the programs.
