Ms O'CONNOR - We have an inquiry about the decision around the rail line through Wynyard under the Rail Infrastructure Act 2007. A Facebook group has been established, and they are worried that the tracks will be removed. Do you have an update on the Wynyard rail line and what the plan is?
Mr FERGUSON - West of Burnie to Wynyard?
Ms O'CONNOR - I think it is through Wynyard past the Makers area.
Mr FERGUSON - There is an agreed plan to remove rail infrastructure west of Burnie because we are putting in place the coastal pathway in partnership with Burnie City Council and Waratah-Wynyard Council.
Ms O'CONNOR - Is it the same corridor?
Mr FERGUSON - Yes, it is.
