The world is getting hotter and extreme weather events are already impacting on Tasmania, yet the Premier has again decided not to reinstate the Climate Change portfolio.

In the last term of government, global warming impacts came home hard to Tasmania.

Devastating drought, bushfires and floods, major biosecurity challenges, rapidly warming East Coast waters, coastal erosion impacts on private property; these are all signs of accelerating climate change.
