State Service Should be Given Leave for Climate Strike

Cassy O'Connor MP | Greens Leader

On Friday, thousands of young Tasmanians will strike for climate action, joining millions around the globe.

Union leaders, UTAS and other employers are showing their support by letting members and staff know they can join the kids fighting for their future on 20 September.

The Premier, Will Hodgman, should do the same and make it clear to public servants they are free to join the strike for climate.

This is leadership.
