Amendment New Clause A - A. Section 4 amended (Salary) Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (d) in subsection (1): (da) higher duties, or more responsible duties or relieving, allowances that – (i) were payable to an employee in respect of duties performed by the employee immediately before a period of long service leave; and (ii) would, but for the employee being absent on long service leave, be payable to the employee for the whole period of that leave as the duties that attract the allowance are resumed by the employee immediately on the completion of the leave; (b) by omitting paragraph (c) from subsection (2). |
